The PR22 ultrasonic pulser receiver serves as a versatile test platform for a wide range of non-destructive testing and material analysis applications. Its flexible signal generation and acquisition capabilities support probe evaluation, flaw detection, thickness measurement, and advanced material characterization.

Probes are critical in ultrasonic testing — their performance directly affects the accuracy and reliability of test results. The PR22 test platform measures and analyzes both the time domain response and frequency domain response of the echo signal from probes in working state, enabling systematic evaluation of transducer performance.
Time domain response · Frequency domain response · Transducer analysis

Waveforms are measured and analyzed based on the ultrasonic pulse reflection principle. Flaw detection determines the presence, size, and location of defects, while thickness measurement obtains workpiece thickness by combining the known material sound velocity with the time interval between two echoes.
Pulse reflection · Defect detection · Echo interval measurement

Using the principle of ultrasonic pulse reflection, the mechanical properties and quality of materials are evaluated by measuring the speed of ultrasonic wave propagation within the material. This technique is widely applied in the field of materials engineering, especially in material evaluation and quality control.
